Festival of Trees celebrates the Arts.
The proceeds support Quad City Arts and artists in all disciplines,
and programs such as Visiting Artists, Super Author and the Quad City Arts Center.

A new event requires sponsors who will provide long term support.
Patron Sponsor Younkers and KWQC TV-6 continues to provide support.
Business sponsorships are successful when they become a tradition.

My role as Director of Development  and Accounting
 was to increase the Annual Drive and ensure that the accounting records were accurate.

In addition, I assisted Donna Goldberg, and the volunteers of Festival of Trees.
I worked closely with Donna to provide organizational support.
My role  on the Festival of Trees parade committee was to work with KWQC TV-6
 to provide the  TV script and parade coordination.

At the same time, ensure that the accounting for Quad City Arts and Festival of Trees
 are accurately recorded.

The Fanfare and Fantasy was to have the first helium filled balloon parade in the Quad Cities. The goal was to have more balloons than the Macy's Parade in New York.

Success of an event is if it continues!

When the sponsorship support continues and becomes a tradition, it is successful.

The beat of the drums and the flags provide the parade with FANFARE and FANTASY

Tom's clown core consist of business leaders in the community who provided support for the Holiday Parade.

Obtaining a business sponsorship for an event that has not been held before takes time.

Funding came and businesses found that having employees serve as balloon handlers can be fun

KWQCTV-6 televised the parade regionally.

Success sponsorship is when the sponsorship becomes a tradition. As of 2004, Younkers continues to support the parade.
